Dotties: Tiny God Sandbox ("the game") is developed and maintained by the Dotties team. This page explains what data the game collects, why it is collected, and how you can manage or delete it.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Identification: When you play, Firebase Authentication assigns an anonymous guest ID. If you choose to sign in with Apple, Google or a passwordless email link, we store your email address (with Apple, this can be a private relay address) and display name so you can sync and recover your progress across devices.
  • Game Progress & Cloud Saves: Your god level, perks, currencies (faith and stardust), story quests, unlocked cosmetics, and settings are backed up to Google Cloud Firestore under your account. Your generated world terrain files remain safely on your device.
  • Social & Friends: If you pick a username and use friend features, other players who know your username can view your public profile card: god name, username, level, civilization population, current era, army size, and an isometric mini-map preview of your world.
  • Diagnostics & Crash Reports: Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics collect pseudonymous gameplay metrics tied to your guest ID (such as "level up" or "world created"), device model, and crash logs to help us fix bugs and balance gameplay. You can disable analytics anytime in the in-game Settings.
  • Notifications: If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging stores a device token so we can send game news and reminders. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
  • In-App Purchases: Purchases are processed securely through Google Play, Apple App Store, and RevenueCat. They validate receipts and maintain purchase history so your one-time bundles can be restored. We never store or receive your payment card details.

2. What We Never Do

We believe in cozy, non-intrusive gaming. We never sell your personal data, we show no third-party banner or video ads, and we do not track you across other applications or websites.

3. Children's Privacy

The game is designed to be family-friendly and enjoyable for players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond the necessary anonymous guest identifier. Signing in with Apple, Google or email is entirely optional.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Your cloud data is retained as long as your account remains active. You can delete your account and all associated online data at any time directly in the game (go to Settings → Account → Delete account) or by reviewing our Account Deletion Guide.
